Emma & John were married at the Bernardus Lodge, nestled deep in the rich hills of the Carmel Valley (it was divine!). The atmosphere, the food, the fireplaces - they all fit the elegant evening the bride had planned out for herself and her groom. Now let me talk about the families! First, we met Emma's family and we loved their beautiful English hats, I must go shopping for some of those. We met John's wonderful kids just before the ceremony (my daughter thought he was hot =), we love them!
The day ended with the best meal we have seen in a long time, the Bernardus Lodge has some of the best food in Carmel (I would give them 3 michelin stars!) and Julia Child even autographed the wall in the kitchen. The staff was great and really served the bride well, we highly suggest using the Lodge if you are getting married in Carmel.
